Ach, Ravelry<\/a>. Ich muss dir heute mal was sagen. Wie lange sehen wir uns jetzt schon\u00a0\u2013\u00a0f\u00fcnf Jahre? Sechs? Beinahe jeden Tag komme ich dich besuchen und sehe mir deine Strickmuster, Projekte anderer Strickerinnen und Bilder von sch\u00f6nen Garnen an. Ich liebe dich von Herzen, Ravelry. Aber es muss endlich gesagt werden: Du hast mich verdorben. Du Luder!<\/p>\n

Wenn ich n\u00e4mlich mal ein klassisches Strickbuch in die Hand nehme, bin ich sofort bockig. Ich soll f\u00fcr all diese Anleitungen bezahlen? Und wenn ich aber nur dieses eine haben will und die ganzen anderen mir nicht gefallen? Und eigenartigerweise gefallen mir tats\u00e4chlich die meisten Anleitungen in Strickb\u00fcchern nicht. Vielleicht, weil ich ohne die fertigen Projekte anderer Strickerinnen nicht gut absch\u00e4tzen kann, was f\u00fcr ein Potenzial in einer Anleitung steckt. Die Fotos in Strickb\u00fcchern sind zwar immer sehr professionell und meistens auch sch\u00f6n, zeigen aber selten alle Knackpunkte eines Musters und sehen generell nie wie etwas aus, was ich jemals herstellen k\u00f6nnte.<\/p>\n

Dementsprechend verbringe ich viel Zeit auf Ravelry und besitze wenig Strickb\u00fccher. Nur ein feines, kleines Werk ist mir vor Kurzem in die H\u00e4nde gefallen und hat mein Herz erw\u00e4rmt, weil es so anders als alle anderen Strickb\u00fccher ist. Und das m\u00f6chte ich euch heute vorstellen, liebe BlogleserInnen. Ravelry, du h\u00f6rst jetzt mal weg.<\/p>\n

\u201eKnit the Sky\u201c von Lea Redmond hei\u00dft es und ist eigentlich mehr Strickinspiration als Strickanleitung. Entstanden ist es aus dem legend\u00e4ren \u201eSky Scarf\u201c<\/a>, der euch vielleicht schon ein paar Mal begegnet ist. Ihr wisst schon, auf Ravelry.<\/p>\n

Die Idee hinter dem Sky Scarf ist so wunderbar, wie die Umsetzung simpel ist: Ein Jahr lang dokumentiert man jeden Tag die Farbe des Himmels mit einer Reihe in einem Schal. Das geht sehr gut, indem man zweif\u00e4dig mit verschiedenen Blau- und Graut\u00f6nen arbeitet, die man zu einer kleinen Palette von Schattierungen kombinieren kann.<\/p>\n

Ich habe meinen eigenen Sky Scarf aus verschiedenen T\u00f6nen der DROPS Flora angefangen, die sich mir ihrer hohen Laufl\u00e4nge und Kuscheligkeit hervorragend daf\u00fcr eignet. Wie individuell und vielf\u00e4ltig das Ergebnis ausfallen kann, k\u00f6nnt ihr vielleicht an den Beispielen folgender Strickerinnen erahnen:<\/p>\n

Von oben links: OctoStags<\/em> \u201eColors of the Sky\u201c<\/a> aus DROPS Karisma und Lima tr\u00f6stet \u00fcber Regenwetter hinweg. ElleYarns<\/em> \u201eKnit the Sky 2016\u201c<\/a>\u00a0aus der zarten Malabrigo Lace<\/a> hat auch violette Sonnenunterg\u00e4nge dokumentiert. Robokels<\/em> \u201eKnitting the Sky 2016\u201c<\/a>, ebenfalls aus Malabrigo Lace, l\u00e4sst sonnige Tage mit wolkenlosem Himmel erahnen. Und KATbike<\/em> hat das Muster mit ihrem \u201eSky Scarf 2014\u201c<\/a> mit einem Chevronmuster aus Malabrigo Silky Merino ganz neu interpretiert. Alle vier (und ich in einem Jahr hoffentlich auch) haben mit ihrem Projekt eine ganz pers\u00f6nliche Aufzeichnung eines Jahres geschaffen \u2013\u00a0und nebenbei auch noch einen wundersch\u00f6nen Schal beziehungsweise Loop gestrickt.<\/p>\n

Zur\u00fcck zum Buch. Warum ein Buch kaufen, wenn es das Muster gratis auf Ravelry gibt, fragt ihr jetzt? Weil es einfach sehr, sehr h\u00fcbsch gemacht ist. Zum einen ist es so liebevoll illustriert, dass ich einfach gern darin bl\u00e4ttere.<\/p>\n

Zum anderen hat Lea Redmond darin noch viele weitere Ideen in der Art des Sky Scarf gesammelt. Denn nicht jeder hat Lust, ein ganzes Jahr lang an einem Projekt zu arbeiten oder einen dann wirklich beachtlich langen Schal zu tragen. OctoStags fertiges Exemplar<\/a> ist drei\u00a0Meter lang!<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr diese F\u00e4lle ist \u201eKnit the Sky\u201c eine wahre Fundgrube an Ideen. Statt Himmelsfarben Stimmungen dokumentieren, eine Babydecke mit einem Viereck f\u00fcr jeden Tag der Schwangerschaft, ein Freundschaftsprojekt, das mit einer Strickfreundin zusammen gestrickt wird\u00a0\u2026<\/p>\n
